Materials Characterization

A wide range of materials characterization testing may be conducted including:

  • Microstructure and mechanical properties
  • Fracture Analysis (Factography)

Fractography (SEM) investigations with using of users samples (without of the sample preparation). Analysis of damages (pipelines, engineering parts etc.).

- Investigation of micromechanism of the fracture. Estimation of nucleation and propagation of the crack and influence of microstructure on these processes

- Fracture micromechanisms and transition temperature of the fracture. Estimation of nucleation and propagation of the crack and influence of microstructure on these processes under testing at temperatures from -196oC up to 300oC (specimens (3...5 pieces) with sizes of 3...4 mm in diameter, 30 mm length with central notch 0.5 mm)
